Buxton Recreation is selling discounted tickets to Smittys Cinema for $7.00 versus $9.00 at the theater. For more information, contact Tashia Pinkham, Recreation Director at 929-8381
There will be a Flu Shot Clinic here at Buxton Town Hall on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 1:00 ~ 2:00 PM. Please remember to bring your insurance card with you. If self-paying, the cost is $30.00.
Blood Drive at Buxton Town Hall Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 1:00 ~ 6:00 PM. Please call 1-800-733-2767 to make an appointment.
Buxton Recreation is partnering with Hollis Recreation to offer a fall bus trip. The bus will leave the Hollis Community Building at 7:00 a.m,, Tuesday, October 28, 2014, and proceed to the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The bus will arrive there at 11:30 a.m. and enjoy a deluxe luncheon buffet, welcome reception, and Halloween costume (costumes optional) contest. At 1:30 we will enjoy the Big Band sound of Jim Sachetta & The Swingers. The show will end at 3:30 p.m., and head back to Hollis. You will need money for breakfast and $33.00 for the Indian Head Resort luncheon/show. In addition there will be a $10 fee for Hollis residents and $15 fee for non-residents.
